Hey all!

It’s time for our first official music post. That’s right. We are liveblogging. And we have music. Best day ever.

For your consumption and enjoyment: Cross the Line Demo.

There’s a few seconds of silence before it starts, so give it a bit…

Please let us know what you think in the comments. We will be sending out the garageband files for mixing to all Nomenclature members, so you can look forward to more polished versions in the future.

  2. I’m so furious. I had a great sample recorded at the airport while I was waiting on my plane. It was a last call for someone to board their plane. It opened the song perfectly. Unfortunately, it didn’t save.

I’ve lost all desire to work on it for the next few days.

    Damnit.

  4. What specifically are you looking for? I spend a lot of time in airports…

  5. The thing I got was a post-final-boarding-call boarding call for two passengers. It was awesome. And it came in really well on my internal mic. I just didn’t click save.

I want it to play over the intro riff and fade out when Mark’s vocals come in. It sets the scene. You know?

  7. On your mixes, each of you should take Mark’s vocal track and use the enhance tuning on maximum (click limit to key). It’s like Kanye is singing. Or Cher.

It’s amusing. Garageband is pretty powerful. I like it.

  8. I greatly enjoyed that. It was like hearing myself on Top 40 radio.
