As alluded to about eleven months ago, other members of the band have begun to work on the GarageBand files for our demos. J.Ro revisited our first song, “Cross the Line”, and added his own takes on lead guitar, organ, computer effects, etc. Download it here:

It could still use some bass (Ben?) and probably some better mixing / mastering, but I like to think I livened it up a little bit. And I resisted the urge to pack it completely 100% full of stock GarageBand sound effects (it was tough). But onward we go, lumbering incrementally towards our desired accomplishments. I think this move gets us back ahead of “Chinese Democracy” pace, if only slightly.
Horns! Genius. I never would have thought about that. Also, the kids cheering is a nice touch.
Yeah, the horns are pretty sweet. I’d like to double track my voice toward the end or add backup vocals to avoid being drowned out, but it’s pretty solid.
This would be neat to perform live. Especially if we could get horns.
